Carmen Rendell - Integrative Counsellor specialising in Walking Therapy. Prior to retraining as a therapist, she spent 20 years in corporations as a project manager and managing communications. She set up her own well-being business Soulhub in 2015, and has 6 years of private client and agency counselling. Carmen worked at Richmond ASCA dealing with issues of addiction and substance misuse. |
In the private sector, Carmen works with clients on a one to one basis often walking in the local parks and using nature to support the therapeutic and healing process. To connect to something bigger than us. To allow the world to guide us.
Carmen’s experience is rounded, and specifically she has worked with depression, addiction, anxiety, trauma, abuse (emotional and physical), suicide ideation, grief, loss, eating disorders, post-natal depression, relationship breakdown, divorce and panic attacks.
Carmen is trained in the main models of counselling, namely: • CBT; • Psychodynamic; • Person Centre; • Integrative; and, • Systemic
She also integrates Mindfulness and spirituality within her approach.
She is a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychology (BACP).
